What you give us
To generate a report, you provide a church name, a website address, and optionally social media handles. All of this is public information about an organization rather than personal information about you.
What we do with it
The website address is used to fetch the publicly available version of that site, the same content any visitor or search engine would see. That content, along with any handles provided, is analyzed to produce your report.
Analysis is performed using the Anthropic API. Content from the reviewed site is sent to that service to generate the report.
What we do not collect
- No account creation and no password
- No email address required
- No payment information, since the tool is free
- No personal profile built about you
We do not sell, rent, or share submitted information with third parties for marketing.
Third-party services
Google reCAPTCHA
Used to prevent automated abuse. Google may collect hardware and software information for that purpose, governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms.
Vercel
The site is hosted on Vercel, which maintains standard server logs including IP addresses and request times, as any web host does.
Anthropic
Report generation uses the Anthropic API, and the content of the reviewed website is transmitted to that service for analysis.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive at the site. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Google AdSense
Advertising is not currently served on this site. If it is introduced later, this policy will be updated and Google's advertising cookie practices would apply at that point.
Cookies
SteepleIQ does not set its own tracking cookies. Third-party services listed above may set cookies of their own, and browser settings can be used to control these.
Reports
Reports are generated on request and displayed in your browser. They are not published, indexed, or made available to anyone else. Closing the page ends your access to that report.
Children
This tool is intended for church staff, volunteers, and leaders. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised date above will be updated.
